The European University is one of the first private colleges in Ukraine. Established in 1991, it trains personnel whose qualification meets world standards. The university is a laureate of the 6th Ukrainian National Quality Competition on the regional level. The European University is included in the State List of academic institutions that receive state support (certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine: series ВД №00368 of 19 December 2003).

     The branch in Ternopil was established in May 2001. It was licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and received the 4th level of accreditation, the highest available.

     The educational process is conducted according to the programs and plans designed by the leading scientists of Ukrainian educational institutions and the Ukrainian National Academy of Science taking into account the similar programs of higher institutions in Finland, Germany, USA, and Canada.
